Ronald K. Dotson

He was born Feb. 9, 1943 in Sewanee, Tennessee to Rufus and Mildred Dotson.

Survivors include one son, Michael (Stephanie) Dotson of Bloomington, one grandson, Hunter Dotson of Bloomington, one sister Linda (Roger) Wells of Germantown Hills, one niece, Kristin Wells of Peoria and one nephew, Kevin Wells of Germantown Hills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Shawn Dotson and one brother, Ken Dotson.

Ronald was a United States Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. Following his time in the Military he was a Police Officer for Peoria Heights. After retiring from the Police he was a flight attendant for American Eagle Airlines. In Texas he was a member of the American Legion.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Wednesday Jan. 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
