Born March 30, 1935, in Peoria to Raymond and Delores (Brown) Bauer, he married Beverly Risius on November 10, 1953, in Jefferson City, Missouri. She survives. Preceding him in death were three grandchildren and two brothers.
Ronnie and Bev owned and operated Bauer Auto Parts, working side-by-side while raising their family. He was a hardworking man with a kind heart who always helped those in need. His smile was contagious as he joked, kidded and teased family and friends, especially his grandchildren who will always remember "Grandpa Kisses." He joked about being a legend in Peoria for always running into folks he knew everywhere they went, but in the eyes of his family, every word was true. Ronnie was passionate about fishing the waters of Canada and pheasant hunting in South Dakota. For many years he enjoyed driving stock cars.
