Roger Lee Kleist

He was born July 26, 1933 in Milwaukee, WI to Adeline Kleist. He married Barbara Marshall on Oct. 17, 1953 in Peoria. She survives along with three children: Randy (Marilyn) Kleist of West Peoria, Robin (Tony) DeMoss of Washington, IL, Ryan (Lorrie) Kleist of Peoria Heights, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and three sisters: Rosemary Eberle of Creve Coeur, Lois (Tom) Mazur of Kenosha, WI, and Colleen Koch of Washington, IL.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one daughter, Rusti Davis, one sister, Betty Brown, and one brother, Robert Langloss.

Roger was a Carpenter working out of Local 237 in Peoria retiring in 1993. He was a lifelong Cubs fan, enjoyed betting on the horses, fishing, and going to Las Vegas. He enjoyed most spending time with his family and will be remembered for having a good joke.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be at Resurrection Mausoleum. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
