Robert "Bob" Charles Hunter

He was born January 4, 1949 in Peru to Robert Malcom and Margaret (Mennan) Hunter. Bob married Crystal Theinert on December 20, 2002 in Pekin, she survives.

Bob is also survived by his two sons, Matthew and Jesse Hunter, step daughter, Elizabeth Campen, step son, Jesse McWhirter; four grandchildren, Anthony Williams, Nycin Campen, Kelsie Behymer and Ryan McWhirter; sister, Barbara Brennan; nieces and nephews, Christie, Sharon, Karen, Kelly and Marshall.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was a Semi Truck driver, working for Unisource until his retirement. He was a member of the Second Chance Church in Peoria. Bob belonged to a Corvette club, and he was a diehard Cowboys fan.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Bible Church, Peoria. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Bible Church, Peoria. Chaplain Scot Shelburne will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
