Paul Jones

He was born February 5, 1930 in Hammond, IL the son of Luther Fred and Alberta Pauline Askins Jones. He married Lorraine (Mitzi) Merkle. He later married Patricia E Bastain. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2012 in Peoria.

Paul is survived by his three daughters, Pam Scharp of Peoria, Deanna Jones of Summerville, SC, and Brenda (Wayne) Parker of Moncks Corner, SC; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Bill (Ellie) Miller of Fairview, OR, Richard (Joyce) Jones of Bartonville, and Donald (Linda) Jones of North Pekin.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Paul was a truck driver for Churchill until his retirement. He was an avid bowler.

A Celebration of life will be at 4:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Chaplain Lauren Padgett will officiate.

Memorials may be made to Harbor Lights Hospice.
