He was born on October 2, 1966 and was raised in Mattoon, IL the son of James and Nancy (Jones) Stroud. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy.
Surviving is his fiance, Krista Bally of Peoria, three children, Katelyn Gholson of Pekin, Brockton Stroud of Las Vegas, NV and Ryan Stroud of Mattoon; his father, James (Lavonna) Stroud of Mattoon; two siblings, Jill (David) Annis of Mattoon and Jason (Wendy) Stroud of Sullivan; two step-brothers, Brian (Teresa) Saunders and Brad (Lisa) Saunders both of Mattoon.
Patrick enjoyed spending time with family and his beloved dog Sammie. He also loved cars, riding motorcycles and going fast. He enjoyed working with his hands, gardening, and cooking. Patrick had a big heart, caring nature, and never met a stranger.
Cremation will be accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
