Patricia A. Gibson, 63, of Hanna City, passed away peacefully at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 27, 1950 in Peoria to Lewis and Imogene (Edwards) Perry. She was married to and divorced from James Peacock and later married Kevin Gibson in Peoria in November of 1990. He survives. Also surviving is her mother of Hanna City; daughter, Jeannie Lynn Peacock of Princeville; son, Christopher James Peacock of Hanna City; step-son, Eric Michael Gibson of MA. For a period of time she was also the foster parent of Shawn, Matthew and Amanda Perry. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, Lynzie Kaye Peacock, Ronald Briggs Peacock, Antonio Evans Peacock, Ethan Gibson, Lorilie Gibson, Pat Lawrence, Ashley Lawrence; 5 brothers and one sister, David “Buddy” (Donna) Perry of Brimfield, Bob Perry of Hanna City, Joyce (Jack) Williams of Trivoli, Don (Carol) Perry of Elmwood, Mike (Brenda) Perry of Hanna City, Rick (Cherie) Perry of Toulon; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Edward. Patricia worked as an automotive parts manager for several Peoria area automotive repair companies for 32 years, retiring from Foster’s Service. She loved the outdoors, gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Private Graveside Services will be held at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unity Point Methodist Hospice. The family asks if anyone sends a flower please make it a plant per Pat’s request.
