Norman E. Arnold

Born June 10, 1942 in Pennville, IN to the late Kenneth and Mary (Myers) Arnold; he married Phyllis Riggs on October 28, 1978 in Bryant, IN. She preceded him in death on February 17, 2011 in Venice.

Also preceding in death were his a brother Jerry Arnold and nephew, David Arnold.

Surviving are his children, Nathaniel (Barbara Jean) Arnold of Venice, Norman R. (Marcia) Arnold of Greenville, OH and Asazalia Forney of Greenville; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters, Patty (Sam) Skinner of Albany, IN and Nancy (Robert) Dull of Bluffton, IN; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Sue Arnold of Bryant, IN. In addition to his family, he leaves the many friends in Florida.

Norman was a retired truck driver and a US Army veteran during the Vietnam era earning his National Defense Medal and Sharpshooter badge. He loved attending John Deere tractor shows and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and shuffleboard.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 am Friday, January 12, 2024 at Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay, IL with Army funeral honors.
