She was born March 16, 1930 in Peoria to Fred and Thelma (Johnson) Miller. She first married Dale E. Weisser May of 1948 in Peoria. She later married Eugene Harper, Jr. Feb. 11, 1977 in Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, and both husbands.
Survivors include one daughter, Lori (Bruce) Mikos of De Land, IL, one son, Garey (Cheryl) Weisser of Peoria, five step-children: Wallace (Kathleen) Harper of Peoria, Cynthia (Charlie Saurs) Petraitis of Barrington, Richard (Edna) Harper of Chillicothe, David (Robin Forstrom) of Edelstein, Susan (Chris) Solka of Cary, Il., four grandchildren, fourteen step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and fifteen step-great-grandchildren.
Over the years, Norma was a homemaker and then also worked in various insurance offices in the Peoria area.
She was a past member of Mt. Olive Missionary Church in Peoria. Norma also enjoyed college and professional football, especially the Chicago Bears, and enjoyed watching professional car racing, including NASCAR.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
