Muriel Elaine Bolen, 72, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born on December 1, 1949 in Peoria to Billy and Jennifer (Elder) Grove. She married Jack Bolen on June 29, 1969; he preceded her in death on March 27, 2013.
She is survived by her two sons, David (Monique Cousineau) Bolen and Aaron Bolen; four grandchildren, Taylor, Savannah, Lalaina, and Rebekha; one brother, Paul (Kara) Grove; and two sisters, Julie Childers and Rhonda Sharp. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Muriel was a pastor and interim pastor of many local churches and member of Second Baptist Church. Her generous spirit and Christian love for others were evident to her many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Second Baptist Church, 6417 W. Farmington Road in Peoria. Inurnment will take place at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church.
