She was born July 17, 1964, in Peoria, IL. The daughter of William and Eleanor McQuellon.
Surviving are her husband, David Baker of Peoria; daughter, Janna Baker of Peoria; daughter, Jessica and Adam Merrick of Peoria, daughter, Samantha Baker of Tallahassee, FL; father, William McQuellon of Peoria; mother, Eleanor McQuellon of Peoria; sister, Carol McQuellon of Peoria; sister, Misha and Craig Bales of Farmington; grandsons, Ian and Brant Merrick; and her nieces and nephews.
A graduate of the I.C.C. Surgical Technologist Program, she worked for the American Red Cross Organ and Tissue Procurement Team. Mollie spent her recent years assisting her husband in managing their family business, Kartville.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She always thought of others first. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandsons.
Mollie inspired love, kindness, and creativity in all of her family and friends. She belonged to various local scrapbooking and rug hooking social groups. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, and shopping with her daughters.
An outdoors woman, Mollie loved taking vacations four-wheeling in Utah and Arizona, hiking and fishing in Alaska and Minnesota, and riding a Harley with her husband in Florida and at home.
Visitation will be held Tuesday Jan. 20, 2015, from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Memorial Service will be held immediately after the visitation.
