The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Mary had a deep and abiding love in her heart for her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, and that love made her faithful, loyal and true while going quietly about her daily life. She furnished her life to Him, "stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord..." and we know that her "labour is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58)."
She is home now with her Savior and Lord.  She has entered into the joy of the Lord, reunited with loved ones who went before her.  We who follow are comforted that we shall see her again.  But thanks be to God, Which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57

Well your picture is so beautiful. God and Jesus will be so glad to welcome you Home .  No matter what. Mary, my friend and sister in Christ, was a joy to talk to as she always praised the Lord by her words, her attitudes, and her relationship with Jesus.
I am blessed to have known her.

I had the privilege of working with Mary for many years.  I enjoyed talking to her on occasion in the Children's department at Grand Prairie.

Psalm 90 was written by Moses.  
It is a prayer of Moses, the man of God.
 1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. 
2 Before the mountains were born, you brought forth the whole world from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
Moses wrote Psalm 90 at the end of the 40 years of wandering in the wilderness.  The Exodus generation had died out.  They had not been good examples for the younger generation who had been born in the wilderness.  Moses had a real burden for all of the generations to come.  He wanted all generations to come to number their days so that men will realize how really short life is and he does not want the days that are left to be wasted.  He knows that God's work on this earth is done through the work of man.  Moses wants men to seek God and to do the will that God has for their lives.  Again in this Psalm, Moses repeats his message that the work of God will be accomplished through his servants and through his believers.
As a faithful believer, Mary accomplished the work that God had for her.  Like Moses, Mary, too, had a real burden for all the generations to come.  She never fell short of the plan God had for her life. Proverbs 31:30 tells us that charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.  Mary not only feared the Lord, but she had a pure heart and a true love for Jesus.  He was her Lord; He was her Savior; He was her husband; He was her all. Mary pressed on toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  
Steve Green's song says it all.
Mary was so great a witness.  She ran the race, not only for the prize, but to leave the generations behind her, the heritage of her faithfulness, passed down by her Godly life.  The fire of her devotion still lights the way and the memories and inspiration that she has left, will lead others to believe.
 Thank you, Mary, for being a true and faithful witness for Jesus and for planting the seeds in my life.
Mary, you are a Woman Deserving of Praise. 
We love and miss you.

Mary was my dear friend and prayer partner for 34 years! In one word she could be described as FAITHFUL! She stood strong to the end,never casting away her confidence. What an example of a Godly woman she was. I will miss her. I Rejoice that she is with her Heavenly Father and Jesus. Her Joy is  now full!

 Mary was one of the best friends I've ever had. We hung out regularly together from the time we both started following Jesus at age 20.  She spurred me on in my walk with the Lord through her strong faith and encouragement. I will miss her terribly, but I know one day she will be there to greet me in heaven.

We had the privilege  of knowing Mary many years. She was always in our services when we ministered in Peoria. She loved the Lord Jesus and you could witness that when you around her. We saw her in November of 2017 and she was fighting the good fight of faith for her health. She has finished her course and has won the race and now she is in the presence of the one she loved.  We feel her loss but rejoice in her victory. We say rest in peace Mary and we will see you again. With love The Hughes  Kennith & Marlene

I remember when I told Aunt Mary I was moving closer to Peoria she said, "Praise the Lord!" I laughed not knowing we would only have a quick 18 months together. I am so grateful for the shopping trips, conversations, and her visit to our farm. Although I know she is dancing the streets of heaven, I will miss her tremendously.

She gave me her own Bible 35 yes ago, full of her notes because I didn't have a Protestant one. What a godly example. That sacrificial act changed my walk!

Mary was a woman of character and strength. She always remained strong in what she believed in!! She was a loyal and faithful friend to our family for thirty plus years!!   We will miss her but know that she has gone on to receive her rewards in heaven, and we will all be reunited some day!! So long our dear friend.  Missy Calcese
