Marsha Ann Chapman

Marsha was born on November 17, 1945 in Peoria to Everette C. Lamie and Betty Ialeen Wainscott Sutter. She married Douglas L. Smith. She later married Charles David “Dave” Chapman on April 20, 1972.

Marsha is survived by her husband of 42 years, Charles; her children, Gregory L. (Ebony) Chapman of Peoria, Mark D. (Michele) Chapman of Avondale, AZ, David P. Chapman of Mesa, AZ and Molly A. (Steven) Chapman-Aiken of Peoria; her step-children, Marc (Debra) Chapman of Deltona, FL and Denise (Mike) Patton of Peoria; her step-father, Emery Sutter; 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty and her first husband, Douglas.

Marsha was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, board games and ceramics and was a big Elvis fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dogs.

Services will be on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:30pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation beginning at 12:30pm. Rev. Randy Williams will be officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to her two favorite charities, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and St. Jude.
