Mallory Isabelle Ford, 9 years old, was granted her angel wings at her residence in Morton, Illinois, Friday, December 16, 2016. Mallory was always called our little angel since she was a baby. Although Mallory’s illness made her frail, she had overcome many obstacles in her challenging life. She was born on November 30, 2007 in Peoria, Illinois to Adam and Heather (Wolf) Ford.
Mallory leaves behind her parents Heather Ford of Morton, Illinois and her father, Adam Ford of North Carolina; sister Shelby; brother Grant; paternal grandparents Kurt and Rhea Wolf of Dunlap; maternal grandparents Alan and Linda Kuperferschmid; Aunt Tiffany Bays; Uncle Johnathan (Madeline) Wolf; Uncle Joseph Wolf; Uncle Jared (Jesssica) Ford; Uncle Mike Oberturf and numerous cousins.
She leaves behind many wonderful people who gave her love and support throughout her short life. Although Mallory had Rett Syndrome which did not allow her to walk or talk, she had the biggest smile and cutest giggles. She loved music, Elmo and Mickey Mouse. She will remain in so many of our hearts. She previously went to the Dunlap Banner Elementary School and was presently in the 3rd grade at the Schramm Education Center in Pekin, Illinois.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Davison Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Shirey will officiate. A visitation will be from 9am until services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2pm Wednesday at the Davenport Memorial Park in Davenport, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for expenses or to Rett Syndrome or Make-A- Wish Foundation. You may create an online condolence at www.woolsey-wilton.com.
