I'm thinking of Maggie.  Although she was my brother's wife, she was just like a sister to me.  I thank God for all the precious memories I have of her.  Only God knows what she meant to me.  Praying for all of the family.  Pudden.

I enjoyed making this Money Cake out of Styrofoam.  I used real  white Icing for bridal cakes.  I colored it with gold cake color.  It was fun to cut out the various shapes and glue them on as well as cut the lace.  The inside was cut large enough to fit the black  bag I made to put inside to hold the money.  Since Maggie mentioned my help at her 25th Anniversary, I tried to find a picture where I helped in the kitchen but was unable to.  Maggie had a special place in my heart.

Sharing this picture of my two oldest brothers who did so many things together.  I remember when Jabo talked to Junior about joining him and Maggie in Peoria. He did.  They attended the same church.  They loved each other very much.  I have so many wonderful memories of both.  We talked via phone often.  Each time I was admitted to the hospital they were there.  Before I lapsed into my coma after my appendix burst.   Jabo, Junior and Maggie were there.  When I woke up, they drove those 75 miles as fast as they could to see me.  When I was brought to my room after major lung surgery, Jabo, Junior and Maggie were there.   I went to Peoria for recuperation.  Jabo, Junior and Maggie did all they could to make my stay as comfortable as they could.   I thank God for all the Memories I have.  

To Gail and Robert.  I will never forget how you blessed me when you showed up in Virginia.  You'll remember Monica was in ICU when you arrived.  I thank God they were able to take her out of ICU before the day you were leaving and we were able to get a memorable picture.  I am posting this because of Maggie's reference to my help with your wedding.  I was surprised when she included it in her thank you note to me.  Pictures tell the story.   My grandsons, granddaughters and great grandson is Maggie's Nephews, Nieces and great, nephew.  

After a few years into our marriage, Chris told me when he saw me and Daddy walking down the aisle towards him, he looked at me, then he looked at the backdoor, and looked at me again. He said he thought to himself. . . RUN!  LOL!  I’m glad he didn’t. Everything turned out ok. We were just fine. 

It’s difficult to accept they are both gone. 

Now that Mom is gone, it’s time to make room for another broken piece to my heart to begin mending. 

I WILL SEE THE THREE OF YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE! 



Mom told me our wedding was the first church wedding she attended.

I met Maggie when I was 15.  I have so many memories.  I took vacation and went and helped her when her first four daughters were born.  We shared many conversations via phone.  Maggie was like an older sister; we were very close.  She was someone I could share anything with.  After my Mama died, Maggie was there for me via phone whenever I needed her.  Maggie would travel 30 miles round trip to purchase a loaf of bread that was about 20 cents cheaper. I couldn’t get her to see she was spending more in gas than the 20 cent she saved on bread.  We laughed about that many times.  I loved her dearly. I pray for all the family during this time of sorrow.  Lean on Jesus.  Jesus will bring you through.  I Love you.  Aunt Pudden.

In loving memory of my sister n law, Maggie Harris. I remember her warm smile and soft grin as she smiled. I remember how she and my dad would drink coffee, and her coffee would be black and strong. She was so sweet and kind. I am so glad I got to see her before she left us. She was a wonderful sister n law. I were sadden to hear of her demise, Maggie will be missed by us all. 

To my Beloved Harris Family.  I am unable to attend the service due to a medical procedure.  I wanted to take this opportunity to give my deepest condolence to my Family.  Mrs. Harris was truly a Warrior & Woman Of God.  She lived and spoke the truth about Gods Word., and was an example of Holiness to everyone who crossed her path. Mrs. Harris was like a mother to me down through the years, and especially after my mother passed away in 1992.  Mrs. Harris prayers, love, and support of me was unconditional.  I will never forget her straightforwardness in a kind manner.  Although, she is gone, but never forgotten for her  Life and Legacy will forever remain a permanent part of my heart.
