She was born on February 16, 1935 in Peoria to Fred and Zelma (Atteberry) Halsted. They preceded her in death.
She is also preceded by her grandson, one brother, and two sisters.
Lulu Bell is survived by her daughters, Shelley (Jack) Tiller, Teresa (Jim Taylor) Davis, and Lorrie (Greg Reed) Thornton; grandchildren, Bryan (Jennifer) Tiller, Bryce (Diane) Tiller, Hillary Tiller, Courtney (Scott) Morse, Tricia (Terry) Grisham, Hank (Andrea) Thornton, Heather (Mike) White, and Heath (Katie) Thornton; 19 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Lulu Bell worked as a waitress for Jumers for over 50 years until her retirement.
A graveside service will be held at Parkview Cemetery on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 11am.
Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Peoria.
