Lucille Marie Warner, 93, of Peoria passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 4:30 a.m. at UnityPoint Health-Proctor. She was born March 8, 1923, in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Ed and Anna Krause Gansch. She married Robert H Warner on January 18, 1942, in Kahoka, MO, in a triple wedding. He preceded her in death in April of 2009.Lucille is survived by two daughters, Kay Hulin of Peoria and Nancy (Dave) Madsen of Schaumburg; one son, Randy (Karen) Warner of Fort Collins, CO; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Eloise Viemont and Ruth Simpson; and two brothers, Al Gansch and Hayden Gansch. Lucille graduated from Woodruff High School in 1941. She worked at Caterpillar from January of 1956 to September of 1981.She was a charter member of Immanuel ER/Parkview UCC Church in Peoria, where she was very active. Lucille was a member of First Federated Church. She was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan. Lucille was a former member of the Chicago Cub Boosters. She loved to fish, cook, bake and spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016, at First Federated Church. The Rev. Dr. Forrest Krummel and the Rev. Steve Barch will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 3, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel and one hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to her church.
