She was born on October 23, 1947, in Peoria, to Glen Arthur and Dorothy Alma (Coyle) Rhoads. She married William McMahill on October 17, 1970, in Bartonville. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2007.
In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Glen Rhoads.
She is survived by her son, Robbie (Patricia) McMahill; granddaughters, Samantha McMahill, and Sydney McMahill; brother, Dennis Rhoads; and niece, Doreen Rhoads.
Linda was retired from the Butternut Bread Company in Peoria. She was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing in Minnesota with her family, and spending time with her granddaughters.
Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will take place at Parkview Cemetery Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the Midwest Food Bank. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
