Linda Mae Jackson

Linda was born on October 23, 1934, to John Walker and Zeporah (McClellan) Walker, they precede her.

She married Thurman Jackson in 1954, he precedes her.

Linda was an adored homemaker for many years. She also was a proud member of the United Usher Board. Linda leaves her cherished memories to four sons; Steven, David Michael, Keith, and John Jackson, one daughter Brenda Jackson; and two honorary daughters, Maggie Lloyd and Annette (Ruffin) Jackson all of Peoria; one honorary sister, Dorothy Alexander; four grandchildren; Tanya (Metwally) Emam, Sterling (Brittany), Spencer, and Sedrick (Isis) Jackson; and four great-grandchildren Sarah Emam, Willow, Sterling Jr., and Forrest Jackson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her honorary sister.

Services will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with visitation commencing one hour prior beginning at 10 am. Pastor Patrick Randall will officiate.

Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery.
