She was born on October 27, 1977, in Peoria, to Robert Joseph and Gina Dianne (Barnhart) Zindt. Her mother preceded her in death on March 4, 2021.
She is survived by her father, Bob Zindt; daughter, Mara (fiancé, Don Rood); sister, Amanda (Keith) Schott; brother, Robb (Jessie Serrano) Zindt; and beloved nephews, Noah Perkins, and Dalton Schott.
Leslie worked for Circle K on Hickory Grove Road, and formerly for AT&T. She was an avid reader. She was feisty, outspoken, and loved to converse with her customers. Leslie had a caregiver’s heart, and relished hugs.
