Lenora Lee Fischer

Lenora (Lenny) L Fischer, 68 of Peoria, IL passed away Sunday October 12, 2014. Lenny was born June 10, 1946 to Richard and Rachel (Lefever) Clark of Meredosia, IL. She married the love of her life, Gerald D Fischer in 1982. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was previously married to Charles E. Krupps of Mt. Sterling, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Frank Clark. Surviving are her three children, Ric (Rhonda) Krupps of Bartonville, IL, Brett (Delon) Krupps of Scottsdale, AZ, and Tamara Krupps of Peoria, IL. Also surviving one brother, Ted (Nancy) Clark of Sherman, IL and one sister, Reba Cloyd of New Berlin, IL, her four grandchildren, Kirsten Krupps, Kody Krupps, Sterling Krupps, and Alexander Krupps. Lenny was awarded a mathematics scholarship to and attended Western Illinois University. She later hired on at Caterpillar and retired in 2013 after 39 years of service.

She later became a licensed real estate broker in 1983 and currently worked at ReMax Unlimited in Peoria, IL since 1991. She was a member of the Peoria Area Association of Realtors, Illinois Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She received numerous awards for sales production from ReMax including the Hall of Fame Award and the 100% Club Award. Lenny supported and volunteered many organizations and causes in her community including the Children's Hospital of IL, Susan G Komen Race for the Cure.

Above all, Lenny will be remembered as a loving, caring mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She did an amazing job of raising her family all the while providing smiles and laughs along the way. She never hesitated to help anyone in need and instilled in her children to do the same. Lenny was known for lighting up a room with her smile, her sense of humor, and kindness. She was an excellent baker and shared her creations with family, friends, and coworkers. A lifelong animal lover, she was a pet parent to her two poodles, Annie and Skip. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Davison – Fulton Woolsey Wilton Funeral Home at 2408 W Willow Knolls Rd Peoria, IL. Funeral Services will be at the same location on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM with final entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria, IL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday immediately following the funeral service, at Bartonville Christian Church, 4900 Pfeiffer Rd Peoria, IL.
