He was born April 30, 1967 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Nellie Cosey and Cleve Warfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jane Ella McNear.
He leaves to mourn two daughters, Samantha Elsie Rose Parker and Alivia Nelly Mae Parker both of Peoria; a grandson, Micah Lee Cameryn Parker of Peoria; five sisters, Nellie Williams of Miami, FL., Lillie Parker and Gracie Curtis of Chicago, Queen Warfield and Queen Truitt of Peoria; seven brothers, James Parker Jr., David Parker, Elijah Parker, Richard (Sherry) Parker, Cleotha Parker, Walter Parker all of Peoria and Willie Cosey of Michigan and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Many people who knew L.C. could easily tell you how much of a loving and caring man he was with a bright and lively personality.
L.C. was a life long car enthusiast and worked as a mechanic at Green Chevrolet. He was a friend to all and was quick to help anyone whether it be on a car or in their home. He was a mentor to numerous young men to help them change and turn their lives around.
A visitation will be Monday, June 3, 2019 from 5 to 7 pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Marlon Young Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview cemetery in Peoria.
