Born on November 4, 1966, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Rev. James and Wanda (Keistler) Richardson, her mother survives her. Laura married Randy L. Arnold in 1986, who survives. Together they have 2 children, son: Joshua (Christine) Arnold; daughter: Kristin (Tyler) Myers; Beloved grandchildren; Elliot Arnold and Mila Myers, all of Chillicothe; and sisters Pam (Kent) Atkinson of Crystal Lake and Lisa (Gary) Bowen of Dunlap. Additionally, Laura leaves behind her in-laws, Randell and Judy Arnold of Lobelville, TN and her sister-in-law Alana (Chris) Carmical of Hurricane Mills, TN: and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her father preceded her in death.
Laura was raised in Peoria and graduated from Richwoods High School in 1984, later to attend Union University where she met her husband and was a devoted wife for 38 years. Laura retired after working over 20 years at CEFCU as a member assistant. She loved her interactions with the community and the relationships she built with co-workers while working there. Laura always enjoyed spending time with her family. She dearly loved her grandbabies and adored her dog, Izzie. She loved shopping in the Heights with her mother and sisters. She had a passion for home decorating and a keen eye for design.
She attended Northwoods Community Church. Laura will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her contagious laugh and smile, and devout faith for Jesus. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral home. A memorial service will follow at 12 P.M. with Pastor Kent Atkinson officiating.
