Kenneth "Kenny" Orville Miller

Kenny was born on April 10, 1938 in Peoria to Orville and Aleda (Johnson) Miller. He married Glena D. Miller in 1963 in Tumwater, WA. She preceded him in death in November of 2012.

Kenny is survived by his children, Rick Miller of Bartonville, IL, Tori (Richard) Barth of East Peoria, IL and Dwayne Miller of Peoria, IL; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Georgia Sims and Alyce Rippon, both of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife; one son, Christopher; and his parents.

Kenny served in the United States Army. He then worked for Kreiling Roofing, retiring in 2000. Kenny and Glena traveled to many places over the years including Alaska and Hawaii and Kenny loved taking pictures throughout their travels. He was also involved in Peoria Youth Hockey. Kenny loved to make people laugh, especially with his jokes, tricks, and storytelling that were experienced through the generations.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 2pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria with visitation two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made in memory of Kenny’s wife, Glena, to the Leukemia Foundation.
