Katherine Sue Payne

Katherine was born October 6, 1948 in Peoria , the daughter of Leo B. & Amy Pelham Payne.

Surviving are two sons, Patrick A. Payne and Christopher L. Payne, both of Peoria; one sister, Dolores Finney of Bradenton, Florida; six nephews; one grandson, Aidan Payne; also surviving is Joel Toms of Washington, IL her longtime companion whom she made her home with.

She is preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Ronald L. Payne.

She worked at the Peoria Production Shop, Hiram Walker Distillery, in the Bottling Department, and Proctor Hospital, in the Housekeeping Department.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Peoria.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Rev. Dr. Bruce Dobyns will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church or Northern Tazewell Fire Department.
