Juanita Moore

Juanita M. Moore, age 81, of Peoria, passed away Tuesday Jan. 28, 2014 at 12:36 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born Dec. 4, 1932 in Salem, AR. to Clarence E. and Alma Mae (Mooney) Burch. She married Alvin Lloyd Moore Dec. 25, 1950 in Heart, AR. He survives along with one daughter, Barbara Carroll of Peoria, one son, Vernon Moore of Wiseman, AR, three grandchildren: Richard Carroll of Oklahoma, Jeana Moore and Gloria Moore both of Wiseman, AR, and one brother, Gene (Maria) Burch of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Loyd Burch. Juanita worked a Hunts Restaurant in Peoria as a Manager for over twenty years. Funeral services will be Saturday Feb. 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Cox-Blevins Funeral Home in Salem, Ark. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of local arrangements. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Salem, Ark. Memorials may be made to the South Side Mission in Peoria or Northwood’s Community Church in Peoria.
