Joyce O. Wohrley, 74, of Peoria, passed away at 4:46 pm on July 6, 2012 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on December 25, 1937 in Montgomery, AL. She married Floyd Milton Wohrley on November 25, 1953. He preceded her in death in 2002. Her parents and seven siblings also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her four children, Debbie (Rick) Owen, Denise Wohrley and David Wohrley all of Tennessee and Julie (Samir Gupta) Wohrleyof Peoria. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Joyce will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed volunteering at nursing homes, playing bingo with friends and fishing with her family.
Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be at 6:00 pm onMonday, July 9, 2012 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate.
