Joyce J. Toft

Joyce June (Huff) Toft was born March 19, 1930 in Peoria, IL. to Marion and Lillian (Davis) Huff. She passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the age of 94 years old. Joyce married William R. Toft Jr. on July 23, 1950 in Peoria, IL. They were married for 50 years. He passed away July 28, 2000. Joyce was also preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters and many other family members.

Survivors include one son, William ( Rhonda) J. Toft Sr. of Bloomington, IL, two grandchildren: William (Alice) J. Toft Jr. and Caitlin E. Toft of Bloomington, IL, and many extended family members ( nieces, great nieces and nephews, great, great nieces and nephews).

Joyce was a wife, mother, and grandmother, beloved by her large extended family. She was a caregiver throughout her life, lovingly caring for her son, grandchildren and other family members.

Throughout her life she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She and her husband always had a pot of coffee ready to welcome neighbors who might stop by for a game of cards. In her later years she enjoyed crafts and playing bingo.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria, IL on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services starting at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria,IL following the service.
