He was born Jan. 20, 1931 in Peoria to James and Ida (Sellers) Reynolds. He married Patricia Boster Jan. 20, 1951 in Peoria. She passed away May 22, 1999 in Peoria. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: James and Robert Reynolds.
Survivors include one daughter, Vickie (Jaye) Mallicoat of Mossville, two sons: Randy (Pam) Reynolds and Rick Reynolds both of Peoria, three granddaughters: Kelly (Harry Arkanoff) Reynolds of Dunlap, Jaime (Joe) Montgomery of Peoria, Lisa (Lucas) Bond of Chillicothe, one grandson, David Mallicoat of Mackinaw, seven great-grandchildren, and one brother, George Reynolds of North Bend, WA.
Jack was a pressman at Fleming and Potter Printing in Peoria for 42 years retiring in 1990.
To all the staff at OSF St. Clare Home, thank you so much for the care and love you gave our dad. Also to OSF Hospice, thank you for the short time you spent with our dad.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Saturday Sep. 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Bob Herath will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery following the services.
