John Anderson

He was the devoted husband of Margaret who died in 1993; much loved father/father-in-law of Jean (Steve) of Montreal, Quebec, Kathleen (Dutch) of Peoria and John (Molly) of Detroit, Michigan; cherished grandfather of Sean (Jessica), Laura (Michael), Lauren (Adam), Malyne, John and Katie; great-grandfather of Mila. John will be sadly missed by his dearest friend Opal Gulick.

John loved the outdoors and spent summers in his youth farming in Saskatchewan and working on supply boats in the Canadian Artic.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Liberty Village for their attention and care during the many years he lived there, especially the staff at Hawthorne Inn. Memorial services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. The family will greet friends 30 minutes before the service.
