Joann Lee Skaggs, 84 of East Peoria passed away on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at OSF surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Richard and Iva (Lynn) Emmons on March 3, 1934 in Peoria IL. They preceded her in death.

Joann married the love of her life David Skaggs on July 18, 1970 in Peoria IL. He survives.

Joann is survived by her children; Tom Greer, Vickie (Dennis) McClure, Sherry (Glenn) Crow, 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a niece Mary Jane Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her 8 siblings and daughter-in-law Nancy Greer.

A visitation will be held 9-11am on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Davison Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria IL, and a funeral service will follow at 11 am.

Burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humane Society or TAP’s.
