Jesus "Jesse" Renee Menchaca

Jesus "Jesse" Renee Menchaca passed from this life on Monday, April 7th 2025 at his home in Peoria IL. Jesse was born on Wednesday, March 18, 1964 in Peoria IL. He was the son of Juan Menchaca and Maria Elena Menchaca.

Jesus married Mary Menchaca in 1988. Together they have three children, Marissa Menchaca of Phoenix AZ, Kara Menchaca of Phoenix AZ, and MacKenzie Menchaca of Phoenix AZ. Jesse has three grandchildren Dominic, Evelyn, and Aria; and is also survived by brother, Juan and sisters, Sandy, Lisa, and Natalia.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Maria.

Jesus served his country by joining the Marine Corps in 1983. He was trained as helicopter mechanic. He semi retired from Kroger as a baker in 2024; but continued to work part time at Papa Johns.

Jesus was better known as Jesse by his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and could make friends with anyone. You can say that Jesse knew a little bit about everything. He had knowledge on random facts, and he would have been a great jeopardy contestant. He had a loud and commanding presence and voice that let you know when he was around. He forged long lasting bonds with his friends that started during childhood, and lasted until the end. Jesse enjoyed spending time alone and working solo, despite this he treasured his time on Earth with family and friends.

Jesse was a great conversationalist he loved sharing his opinion and listening to others' opinion. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
