Jeffrey Scott Hess

Jeffrey “Jeff” Scott Hess, 28, of Pekin, passed away October 27, 2017 in Peoria. He was born January 21, 1989 in Peoria, IL to Robert “Bob” Hess and Tammy Lynn (Bloom) Bushman. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Hess. Surviving to cherish his memory are his parents, Bob Hess of Pekin and Tammy Lynn Bushman of Peoria, two brothers, Isaac Lynn Bloom of Pekin and Robert (Susan) Jeffrey Hess II of Green Valley, maternal grandparents, Billy Ray Bloom of East Peoria and Judith Leigh Moser of Peoria, Paternal grandmother, Jeanie Childs of Peoria and four nephews. Jeff was a singer and song writer who played with the band, The Movement. He was an avid writer and was in the process of writing his first book. Jeff enjoyed sports and was a Miami Dolphin and Philadelphia Phillies Fan. He was of the Baptist Faith. A visitation will be Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. A funeral service will be on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10 am at the funeral home. Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Memorials may be made to the family.
