Janet was one of those rare people who made the world better. In her job at Legal Aid in Nashville, Janet was nominated for awards for her work. Everywhere Janet went, she always made many friends. No matter your station in life, race, religion or politics, Janet always made you feel special and valued. She helped people with problems of addictions, homelessness and abuse off the streets and found them housing. She fought for the margins of society. Janet literally was 'tikun olam', healing of the world.
