He was born February 21, 1941 in Pekin, IL to James M. and Laura (Green) Wallace. He married Mary Paden in 1961 in Champaign, IL. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons, James (Jodi) Wallace of Roswell, GA, Mike (Shelia) Wallace of Farmington, IL; five grandchildren; his sisters, Susan Bush, Mary Knack, Sheila Lee; and his stepmother, Louise Wallace.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother.
He was a partner in P.F. Sales, a local food brokerage, until he retired at age 50. He loved golf, enjoyed building things, and worked with his sons and Habitat for Humanity North Central Georgia on three occasions, including 2003 and 2005 when he traveled to Georgia and Michigan for week-long builds.
Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton is in charge of arrangements. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
