Jack was born on March 6, 1931 in Peoria, the only child of the late Homer and Lena (Campbell) Gould. On December 30, 1951 he married Jo Ann Clayberg in Peoria, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his daughter, Debra (Byron) Yang of Peoria; two grandsons, Matthew (Danielle) Yang of Peoria and Justin (Rachel) Yang of Washington; and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kobe, Liv, Jett, Xavier, Nikko and Kaia.
Jack retired from Caterpillar in 1993 where he was an Instrument Repairman. He formerly worked at Pabst Brewing and the B.F. Goodrich plant in Henry. He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran.
Jack was a longtime member of Memorial Christian Church in Peoria, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 11, 2021. Rev. April McClure Stewart and Rev. L. Arvil Bass will officiate.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, 2021 N. University St. in Peoria.
Burial with Military Honors will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
