Jerry was born September 18, 1931 in Peoria to Emil and Frieda Hoerr.
He attended Woodruff high school and successfully ran the Ben Franklin store in Peoria Heights which his father had started until he and his wife Marie retired in 2018.
Marie proceeded him in death in April of 2022. His brother William also proceeded him in death in November 2004.
He is survived by his son, Bruce Hoerr and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday April 14, 2025 at 9:30am with a short service at 10:30 am at the Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
Burial will be in the Peoria Apostolic Church Cemetery near Edwards.
