Gary Louis Gottschalk, 68 of Brimfield passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June 3, 2016. Born November 11, 1947 in Peoria, IL; Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth (Wood) and Wilbur Gottschalk and a sister, Sandra Kay Gottschalk. Survivors include his brother, Terry (Mary) Gottschalk; his niece, Laura Volk; his nephew, James (Karen) Gottschalk; a great niece and nephew as well as several cousins. For many years, Gary was a host and “Jack of all trades” at the 50’s Diner, serving with his friendly manner. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 10, 2016 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is honored to serve the Gottschalk family. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
