Evelyn Wright

Evelyn was born August 10, 1934 in Bellevue, KY, the daughter of Ernest and Ruby Dameron Goodpaster. She married Roy James Wright on November 16, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1995.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Wright, and Paul Wright both of Peoria; one granddaughter, Crystal Wright of Cleveland, TN; one grandson, Chris Wright of Las Vegas, NV; one great-granddaughter, Katie Maloney of Cleveland, TN; four sisters, Phyllis Bode of Cincinnati, OH, Delilah (Gordon) Stewart of Mason, OH, Betty (Robert) Fischer of Cincinnati, OH, and Susan (Harold) Mezo of Jacksonville, FL; and one step-brother, Richard (Cathy) Worthington of Cincinnati, OH.

Evelyn was also preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria.

Evelyn was also a member of Church Women United, Peoria Bowling Association, Republican Women, and Beta Sigma Phi.

Funeral services will at 12:00 pm Monday September 21, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. Visitation will be two hours prior to services. Pastor Elise Rothfusz will officiate.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Burial of ashes will be in Hillside Chapel in Cincinnati, OH at a later date.
