Erma J. Taylor, age 66, of Peoria, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 5:42 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born August 28, 1950 in Brownsville, Tennessee to Morris and Ora (Macklin) Brown, Sr., who preceded her in death She married Willie E. Taylor in Tennessee. He passed away in 1984 in Memphis, TN. She was also preceded in death by one son, Willie H. Taylor; one daughter, Kathy Taylor; and three brothers. Survivors include six daughters: Annette (Kevin) Taylor of Peoria, Teresa (Gregory) Taylor of Memphis, Lueshand (Claude) Nunn of Peoria, Sarah (Percy) Taylor-Renfro of Peoria, Sharon Taylor of Memphis, Lueshanta Taylor of Memphis; one son, Robert Taylor of Memphis; 29 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by four sisters: Luvennie (J.T.) Currie, Magnolia Gibbs, Carolyn Montgomery, Mary Harvell, all of Memphis, and two brothers: Robert (Elaine) Brown and Bobby Brown also of Memphis. Erma was a C.N.A. in the Memphis and Peoria area for 42 years retiring in 2013. She was an Usher at Browns Chapel in Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the Church. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Entombment will be in Parkview Memorial Chapel in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
