Elizabeth Ermagene Preston, age 85, of Peoria, formerly of Bethany, MO, passed away Wednesday Sep. 17, 2014 at 10:50 a.m. at Heritage Health Care in Chillicothe with her husband of 68 years by her side.
She was born March 24, 1929 in Bethany, MO to Addison and Maude (Kinnison) Camp. She married Ronald Eugene Preston Feb. 3, 1946 in Troy, KS. He survives along with two sons: Stan (Connie) Preston of Peoria, Brad (Kelly) Preston of Indianapolis, IN, two grandchildren: Bart (Lorrie) Preston of Peoria, Kristin (Perry) Stanley of Jewell, IA, six great-grandchildren: Zachary Stanley, Elizabeth Stanley, Alexandria Preston, Sophia Preston, Olivia Preston, Nicholas Oakley Preston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers: Kenny Camp, Bill Camp, one still born brother, and one twin sister, Evelyn Casley.
Ermagene was a School Cafeteria Manager for 17 years at South Harrison High School in Bethany retiring in June of 1991. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Peoria.
Visitation will be Sunday Sep. 21, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Funeral services will be Monday Sep. 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Peoria, with Pastor Dean Graybill officiating. Additional visitation will be Monday one half hour prior to the services at the church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday Sep. 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Lloyd Cemetery in Mt. Moriah, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Peoria.
