Eleanor B. Richey

She was born August 27, 1931 in Glasgow, KY, to Raymond & Maggie Bowles. She & her husband, James Richey, moved to Peoria, IL in 1955. He went to Heaven in 1991.

Eleanor is survived by her two daughters, Dorothy Roseboom and Debbie (Larry) Bradford; two grandsons, Nathan (Leslie) Bradford and Wesley (Angel) Bradford; 3 great granddaughters, Ellie, Nori, and Elowen Bradford; a sister, Dorothy Tinoco; a brother, George (Opal) Bowles, and 16 wonderful nephews and nieces. Eleanor loved her family dearly and was so proud of everyone.

Eleanor was a devoted Christian and was a member of East Peoria Church of Christ, and the Northwest Church of Christ. She lived every day for Christ and His church. Reading, playing cards with the family, and talking with friends and loved ones were a few of her favorite hobbies.

A memorial service will be held for Eleanor on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 3pm in the chapel of Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home with Pastor David Spillman officiating the service. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services.
