Dorothy Lou Koeppel

Dorothy was born July 4, 1931 in Hanna City, the daughter of John H. and Helen L. Neff Johnson.

She is survived by one son, Roland D. (Susan) Koeppel of Peoria; one daughter, Debra L. (James) Funk of Green Valley; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, Donald G. (Noreen) Johnson of Carmel, IN.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one grandchild.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and past member of Parents Without Partners.

Dorothy was always a great mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Brunswick Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Peoria, or Pekin First United Methodist Church.
