Donnie Gene Clark

Donnie G. Clark, 60, of Peoria passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at UnityPoint Health-Methodist, surrounded by his loving family. Donnie was born to Billie H. and Louella (Tibbs) Clark in Fairfield, IL, on December 14, 1956. After high school, Donnie went off to serve in the United States Coast Guard in 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1979. During his time in the service, he married the love of his life, Robyn, in Decatur, IL, on January 22, 1977. For most of Donnie's adult life he was a proud diesel mechanic and went on to work several other jobs. In his free time, Donnie loved spending time in the outdoors camping and fishing with friends and family. Donnie has never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest. He served as the past Master at Alta Lodge 748. He is survived by his loving wife, Robyn Clark of Peoria; son, Jason Clark and his fiancé, Blair Jeffers; sisters, Sharon (Terry) Muzzy of Bethany, IL, and Cecelia (Denny) Ferguson of Bethany, IL; his twin sister, Donna (Randy) Ehlers of Normal, IL; and brother, Eddie (Linda) Clark of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved parents-in-law. Cremation rites have been entrusted with Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, 2408 W. Willow Knolls Road, Peoria, IL 61614. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 30, 2017, starting at 5 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m. Masonic rites will be held after the visitation, starting at 7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday July, 1, 2017, starting at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners Hospital or St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
