In my life God has brought me many blessings.  The Rohn family immediately became part of my family.  I enjoyed the ultimate nursing experience when it came to Don.  Joyce, Tom and Belinda, Tim and Malisa and of course the children were so very important to my everyday life.  It was my privilege to care for Don and be part of all your hearts. Joyce and Family,  So sorry to hear of Don's accident and death.  We missed you at the Calvin Coolidge Mothers' Club reunion but you were where you needed to be....at Don's side all the way. Rohn family,

I first met Don years ago - hunting at the duck club.   My father hunted with Don in a pit blind.  My brother and I hunted with Don's father.   I had made arrangements through Vel Welch to have a one-day hunt.  It was great fun!  Ever since that time, Don was a friend!   We seemed to cross paths a couple of times a year, and he was always warm in his greetings to me!  He will be missed by many!

We heard of Don's passing last week but the right words wouldn't come to express our sorrow.  Don was my mentor for many years at ROHN.  He even arranged a phone call from his office so I could ask my future wife out on a first date.  That was August 1980, and Carol and I were married the following year, which Don and Joyce both attended along with many other fellow ROHN employees. Don still kept in contact with us long after leaving Illinois, calling us on birthdays and anniversaries. He was taken far too early and will be missed.

To the family of Don, I've prayed that the Lord will touch you're family at this time of loss. As a member of the Rohn working family, I too feel loss at this time. Because of Don and his devotion to the Tower Industry, I have had the opportunity to prosper in this community. He created a career for me, giving me a place to succeed. I am deeply saddened by Don's passing.  As a member of the LAFA Organization, he was an integral part in raising funds for Limestone Community High School. I worked and played with Donald from when his Dad hired me in 1957 until we both retired in l997,  We were friends, buddies and business associates for 40 years and Donald was always an inspriation to me.  I last saw Donald when my wife Dianne and I had dinner with he and Joyce when we were passing thru Peoria 4 or 5 years ago.  I will miss him terribly and hope that you all can find the strength to keep his memory alive in behalf of all the people he so graciously helped while he was here.

My sincere condolences in the passing of Don to his entire family.  I know how proud he was of his family.  What a nice man, a gentleman, and a respected business man in the community.  He was always so friendly and kind.  Don took my real estate class a number of years ago, and we often ran into each other....I always enjoyed our visits. I was extremely saddened to hear of Donald's accident and subsequent passing.  Having grown up with Richard Rohn and working at Rohn Mfg., I knew Donald very well.  He always had an onery nature about him, and if he could pull one over on you (or Richard), it gave him great pleasure.  He was always light-hearted and his smile and laugh were memorable.  Thanks Donald for all the times you made me laugh as well!  You were a great friend and will be missed.

I offer my condolences to Don's family.  I will miss greatly our occasional conversation and the business wisdom that Don would offer.  Over the years, he gave me alot of good advice.

I worked for Rohn for 10 years in the Engineering department.  I credit Don for establishing and expecting high standards from his people which reflected positively not only in having the best employees, but it influenced a person to be the best they could be in life.  My career as a professional in Engineering has been strengthen with the foundation that Don established.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Im so sorry for your loss. Don and I grew up in the same neighborhood, our mothers were in the same bunco club for years and Don and i went to grade school and highschool together.. A really good man has left, but his spirit will linger along with all his good works.

We're so sorry to hear of Don's passing.What we are feeling now is hard to put into words.  I called on Don about 40 years ago when he was at Rohn and I was a sales rep. for Couch & Heyle.About 10 years ago we connected again and spent may mornings walking together.  Don was proud of his
