He was born October 13, 1950 in Peoria, IL to Sherman and Juanita (Wrenn) Richeson. He married Theressa Moore February 29, 1975. He later married Alma Kaebel in 1998.
Surviving are his three children, Timothy "Donnie" (Molly) Richeson of Brimfield, Theodore Richeson of Peoria and Katherine Richeson also of Peoria. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Travon and Tava Richeson, and Eli and Tucker Gunter; one sister, Sue Ella Rindfleisch of West Peoria; and two cousins, Danny and Cody Wrenn both of Texas City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Albert Richeson.
Donald worked as a Truck Driver for many years and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 627. He later graduated from Methodist College of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Seven Crescent until retiring in 2014.
He was highly skilled with a Guitar and played in his local band COMMON GROUND, a avid builder of firemans, an automotive enthusiast and loved Sci Fi Movies! Donald also had a passion for working with his hands. He built various items from picnic benches for his workplace and playground sets for his children.
A funeral service will be on Sunday, March 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm with visitation two hours prior to the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
