Diane was such good person with smiling face, I recall the day in surgery of Franciscan hospital in Rock Island where she was a super nurse always helping out with her best effort in her heart. I deeply miss her.

Di was one of the most successful and inspiring women I know. I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful woman influence my life. Sending my love and prayers to the McMillin family.

My heart breaks for the McMillin Family. Diane was like a mother to me when my own mother could not be, and I will forever be greatful for their hospitality and all of her kind words of wisdom. All my deepest sympathy to a family who has had the pleasure of calling her their Matriarch.

I worked with Diane and young Jim and Michelle at Franciscan and recall many great memories of your wife and mother.  She was the consummate nurse, always proactive for her patients, she was fiercely protective of her family and loved them all dearly.  Her grandchildren were a great source of pride and love for her  Never did she have an unkind word to say about her family, always glowing and ever so proud.  She was always a whirlwind of energy and can't imagine the world without her positive force.  My sympathies to you all.

Diane always had a glow that lit up the room! We worked together both at Franciscan and then at Masonic. What a joy she will bring to heaven.  Jim, she will always be at your side.

Jim, so sorry to hear of Diane's passing.  My prayers are with you and your family.  I recall the good memories we had (with another "Big Jim")  before you were married.

Chris/Bob & family,  We were very sorry to hear about the passing of your sister Di.  This is never easy for any family, but especially one as close and special as yours.  Take comfort in the fact that Di is looking down from Heavan and smiling on all of you.  She is at peace!  God Bless and we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Di's light will shine forever in the hearts of so so many that she touched in her unselfish journey of life. Gods love always radiated in her smile. When your missing Di just close your eyes and see her smile. Di would not want us to be sad rather we should rejoyce that God let us know one of his very special gifts on earth.

Dear Jim and family..I know you know how loved Di is with all her Fransican family. She was a wonder woman and nurse someone to look up to and try to be like. Jim, we were shocked to hear about Diane's death.  So sorry we were not able to come to the funeral.  Our prayers are with you and your whole family.  I said a special prayer for Diane at Mass on Saturday night and again this morning a rosary for her.  Next time we are in the area we want to stop and spend some time with you. My heart aches from the loss of my dearest friend, Diane. This world always seemed like a safer place with her by my side. We will all miss her terribly. So many fun times and wonderful memories. I loved her energy, her faith and the love she gave to everyone she met. She was such a positive influence. My family and I were so blessed to share life on 26th Ave. with the McMillins who became our extended family. Diane will continue to live on in my heart forever.

My heart goes out to Jim and the family.  I was a co-worker of Diane's at Franciscan Hospital and I remember her as a warm, happy and beautiful lady. You are all in my prayers.

It seems so strange to even be writing this note.. I am so sorry for all of your loss..and Diane is definitely a huge loss to all of us here left to remember her..
