Born April 25, 1957 in Peoria, IL to Colonel and Ruth (Brickner) Hawk; she married Harley Ray Utzinger I on April 29, 1974 in Peoria.
Surviving are her children, Gail (Dustin) Gillan of Norwood, Harley (Lisa) Utzinger II and April Weber, both of Peoria; grandchildren, Felicia (Adam) Mowder, Dustin (Cheyenne) Gillan, Jacob (Brittany) Gillan, Jadin (Patrick) Booton, Hunter Weber, Austin (Kila) Weber, Destiny Weber, Blain Weber, David Bouton (Jinaye Briemle), and Chase Utzinger; great grandchildren, Baylee, KJ and Ryan; and her brother, Darrel (Diane) Hawk.
Preceding in death were her Parents, Husband and brother, Ike Hawk.
Diana’s life centered around caring for her children and grandchildren. She was actively involved in their activities as a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed attending their events as they grew up. Her grandchildren will especially remember always wanting to spend the weekend at grandma’s house.
Diana loved to create arts & crafts.
Services will be private. Diana will be laid to rest with her husband at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or any local animal shelter.
