He was the Founding President of the Quiet Pride MC and served 18 years as the Director of the Peoria Veterans Day Parade.
For 3 decades, Dennis was the Superintendent of Parkview Cemetery in Peoria where he took personal pride in the development of the Vietnam Veterans Garden. He also helped with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Traveling Wall when it was brought to Parkview.
His family has lost a loving husband, brother, gentle loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
The entire veteran and first responder community has lost a leading supporter, friend and advocate.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, 2021 N University St in Peoria which stands adjacent to Dennis’ beloved Parkview.
Memorials are suggested to Quiet Pride Motorcycle Club to support their ongoing efforts or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
