West Peoria – David James Siewert, 53, of West Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Methodist Emergency Department in Peoria. He was born on December 27, 1967 in Peoria to John Frederick and Sheila Ann (Epps) Siewert. They survive.
David is also survived by his two brothers, John F. Siewert II of West Peoria and Eric A. Siewert of Toulon; and one niece, Brittney (Josh) Beall of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by his partner, Michelle Fenwick; and grandparents, Truman and Anna (Trapper) Epps and Herbert and Gertrude (Mayer) Siewert.
David battled several serious illnesses with courage, determination, and dignity.
David was a graduate of Illinois State University, graduating cum laude and receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He was a genius with computers and worked for many years as a computer systems administrator, traveling throughout the country.
He loved to hunt waterfowl, fish, play guitar, garden, and was a gourmet cook.
David’s celebration of life service will take place at a later date. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria is in charge of cremation arrangements.
